Bozdogan FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tamer Demirhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hakkı Deniz Namık breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serbülent Hikmet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bozdogan FK's Cuma Orkutay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Bozdogan FK from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Ramazan Canfer put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Cuma Orkutay, was totally fooled by Osmanbey JK's Erkan Periz, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Tansu Karakaya hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serbülent Hikmet to strike the kick off in the second half. If Tamer Demirhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kadir Sidam struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. After 69 played minutes, Osmanbey JK's Sercan Akmeşe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cuma Orkutay came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Osmanbey JK reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlhami Sadi in the 73rd minute of play forced Bozdogan FK's goalkeeper Cuma Orkutay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bozdogan FK's goalkeeper Cuma Orkutay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Serbülent Hikmet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cuma Orkutay having to make a save.
