The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmet Nasir Uzkan hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Anıl Baran Candemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Hıdır Taci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Soner Derinöz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Ahmet Nasir Uzkan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Simav FK's Hıdır Taci. Hıdır Taci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Simav FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of YEŞİL DENİZSPOR:s goal. After some careless play in the YEŞİL DENİZSPOR defense, Okaner Yaman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aktaç Tunçkaya. The YEŞİL DENİZSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aktaç Tunçkaya should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Soner Derinöz made a precise shot to the right of Hıdır Taci. Simav FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 33rd match minute, Simav FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gündüz Çetinay to maneuver through the defense. YEŞİL DENİZSPOR's Anıl Baran Candemir got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, YEŞİL DENİZSPOR's Hıdır Taci threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anıl Baran Candemir, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anıl Baran Candemir received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hıdır Taci came out and tried to block the shot, but Anıl Baran Candemir slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zühtü Kutsal in the 43rd minute of play forced YEŞİL DENİZSPOR's goalkeeper Aktaç Tunçkaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zühtü Kutsal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute Zühtü Kutsal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aktaç Tunçkaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anıl Baran Candemir was the one to do the kick off. Zühtü Kutsal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Aktaç Tunçkaya made a huge save. When Simav FK's Okaner Yaman in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye YEŞİL DENİZSPOR's goalie prevented a goal. Hamza Tahsin kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Soner Derinöz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hıdır Taci was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soner Derinöz in the 71st minute of play forced Simav FK's goalkeeper Hıdır Taci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zühtü Kutsal got free with Aktaç Tunçkaya in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75thth minute of the game Okaner Yaman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YEŞİL DENİZSPOR's Aktaç Tunçkaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anıl Baran Candemir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 81st minute of the match Batıhan Hisarcık completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Batıhan Hisarcık a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Simav FK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Batıhan Hisarcık hit a great ball. Kubilay Uygunel, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Zühtü Kutsal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aktaç Tunçkaya made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Zühtü Kutsal sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Simav FK's Suphi Şirzat got a free kick in the 95th minute. YEŞİL DENİZSPOR were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Simav FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kubilay Uygunel took the corner. YEŞİL DENİZSPOR walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
