Nuri Özberk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Muzaffer in the 5th minute of play. Kocaköy JK were furious when Sebati Regaip was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Mehmet Edip Usta shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Asaf Argün hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Erim Avşar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erim Avşar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nuri Özberk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaptan Kuntay's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaptan Kuntay in the 18th minute of play forced Kocaköy JK's goalkeeper Nuri Özberk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Kaptan Kuntay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hakkari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaptan Kuntay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28 played minutes Kocaköy JK got a freekick which was hit by Yaşar Nuri Uruz. After 29 played minutes Kocaköy JK got a freekick which was hit by Uygur Sönmezalp. Kocaköy JK's Nuri Özberk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erim Avşar in the 34th minute of play. The Hakkari fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Hakkari's Erim Avşar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Erim Avşar made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaptan Kuntay got free with Nuri Özberk in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yaşar Nuri Uruz kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Hakkari's Kaptan Kuntay got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erim Avşar in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuri Özberk saved Kocaköy JK from getting behind. If Erim Avşar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Edip Usta hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Kaptan Kuntay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erim Avşar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Nuri Özberk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaptan Kuntay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Nuri Özberk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Kocaköy JK's Nuri Özberk got control of the ball when Kaptan Kuntay tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Kaptan Kuntay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kocaköy JK's Uygur Sönmezalp got a free kick in the 81st minute. Nuri Özberk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erim Avşar in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaptan Kuntay got free with Nuri Özberk in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kaptan Kuntay was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Hakkari's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Kaptan Kuntay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Nuri Özberk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hakkari played a much better game than Kocaköy JK and deserved their victory. The Kocaköy JK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
