ZEYTİNKÖY FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Orhan Baltacı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Celil Kayrabay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ali Orhan Baltacı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ofspor JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Orhan Baltacı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Behram Süreyya notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ofspor JK's Gökcan Ökmen. Gökcan Ökmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 42 played minutes Ofspor JK got a freekick which was hit by Fuat Şahiner. In the 44th minute, Yağız Tercan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cihangir Adışanlı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cihangir Adışanlı in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gökcan Ökmen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cihangir Adışanlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökcan Ökmen having to interfere. Fetih Çetinalp hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Ofspor JK's goalkeeper Gökcan Ökmen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Behram Süreyya. A collision led to ZEYTİNKÖY FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cihangir Adışanlı hit a great ball. Ali Ömer Baysal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Behram Süreyya got free with Gökcan Ökmen in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Ömer Baysal in the 75th minute of play forced ZEYTİNKÖY FC's goalkeeper Yaşar Zeki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Ofspor JK's Ali Ömer Baysal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yaşar Zeki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gökcan Ökmen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cihangir Adışanlı's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The supporters of ZEYTİNKÖY FC booed when Ofspor JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Besim Uludağ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Behram Süreyya succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 88th playminute. The ZEYTİNKÖY FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ZEYTİNKÖY FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
