The Nevşehirspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arif Egemen Ulun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Çetin Tecen's late challenge caught a Sile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Çetin Tecen helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Nevşehirspor got a freekick which was hit by Çetin Tecen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Gil in the 35th minute of play forced Sile's goalkeeper Öztürk Tuğalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haydar Yaşam made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ahmet Tuz immediately put the ball in play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiz İnanır was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Nevşehirspor's Ismael Gil got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Arif Egemen Ulun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hüsnü Sehriyar fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nevşehirspor's protests and gave Hüsnü Sehriyar a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Hüsnü Sehriyar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Öztürk Tuğalp was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
