Ali Hamza Müşfik charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Hamza Müşfik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ali Hamza Müşfik hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Emrullah Cenap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abuzer Tanyel, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Tacettin Üçok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Emrullah Cenap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tosya SK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Berker Beybolat hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Hafız Kapsam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sarp Tanırcan was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Berker Beybolat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kursunlu's Neşat Oyman got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 played minutes Tosya SK got a freekick which was hit by Abuzer Tanyel. Ahmet Ali Korkutalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sarp Tanırcan having to interfere. Neşat Oyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sarp Tanırcan made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Hafız Kapsam sent off a good shot on target. Ali Hamza Müşfik kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Ahmet Ali Korkutalp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 45 minutes into the match, Tosya SK's goal looked a bit too open when Sancarbey Sirri came free, but Sarp Tanırcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Neşat Oyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Tosya SK's Sarp Tanırcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ali Korkutalp in the 61st minute of play. After 62 minutes, Berker Beybolat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tosya SK and the Kursunlu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Berker Beybolat kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Sarp Tanırcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Ali Korkutalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neşat Oyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sarp Tanırcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tosya SK's zone, Neşat Oyman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sarp Tanırcan came out of the goal and Neşat Oyman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Ahmet Ali Korkutalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sarp Tanırcan. Tosya SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Ali Korkutalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Tacettin Üçok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emrullah Cenap having to interfere. A collision led to Kursunlu getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ediz Bostancıoğlu hit a great ball. Emrullah Cenap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abuzer Tanyel in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Kursunlu's Neşat Oyman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sarp Tanırcan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Tacettin Üçok came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Tosya SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tacettin Üçok couldn't finish the play. Kursunlu's Neşat Oyman got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sarp Tanırcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neşat Oyman in the 97th minute of the match. Tosya SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
