Aydemir Cemşit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Baturhan Altın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Cengiz Taymaz having to interfere. Kutluay Neyzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Aydemir Cemşit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Bismil SK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sungurhan Tufan made a kick off. If Kutluay Neyzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bismil SK booed when Kırmızı Şeytanlar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sefa Ula's late challenge caught a Bismil SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
