Yedikule JK's Tan Özbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alim Zeynur in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Battal Tardu in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tan Özbey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 20 minutes, İldeniz Kutlay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yedikule JK and the ladikspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Battal Tardu came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the ladikspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Battal Tardu couldn't finish the play. Abdulmelik Hunalp hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Tan Özbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battal Tardu in the 28th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Refik Satıkbuğra to strike the kick off in the second half. Tan Özbey guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 58 minutes into the match, Yedikule JK's goal looked a bit too open when Alim Zeynur came free, but Tan Özbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Refik Satıkbuğra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Yedikule JK's zone, Alim Zeynur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tan Özbey came out of the goal and Alim Zeynur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Alim Zeynur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tan Özbey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Yedikule JK booed when ladikspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kerem Denizalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the game, ladikspor's Battal Tardu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tan Özbey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. ladikspor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
