The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th match minute, Dernekpazari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erkan Akyel to maneuver through the defense. Beşir İğdemir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Tekin Korcan made a huge save. With a little luck, Dernekpazari's Tekin Korcan got control of the ball when Müslüm Ünlüsoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Nuratay Yabgu made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Bitlis FK's Ahmet Sedat Turkay got control of the ball when Hidayet Yener tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hidayet Yener struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Ahmet Sedat Turkay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dernekpazari. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beşir İğdemir in the 56th minute of play forced Dernekpazari's goalkeeper Tekin Korcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes, Erkan Akyel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dernekpazari and the Bitlis FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dernekpazari getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Erkan Akyel hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Nuratay Yabgu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Sedat Turkay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuratay Yabgu in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Sedat Turkay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Sedat Turkay made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Hidayet Yener sent off a good shot on target. Bitlis FK's Ahmet Sedat Turkay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuratay Yabgu in the 91st minute of play. Nuratay Yabgu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
