With a couple of smart ball manuevers Çağdaş Tanır in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet İlke Beren saved Sultanhamam from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Emir Samil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Ali Kaman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Şeray Eğriöz might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bünyamin Paşa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şeray Eğriöz ran back to his position shaking his head. After 23 played minutes Sultanhamam got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Efe Ekvan. 28 minutes into the match, Sultanhamam's goal looked a bit too open when Serhan Ergönül came free, but Ahmet İlke Beren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şeray Eğriöz might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bünyamin Paşa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The tension between the Akdagmadeni and the Sultanhamam players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Akdagmadeni got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Oğuz Çakar. In the 34th minute, Mehmet Ali Kaman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Akdagmadeni's Bünyamin Paşa didn't even have to move. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sultanhamam's goalkeeper Ahmet İlke Beren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 0-1 became the score in the 40th minute when Çağdaş Tanır elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half Akdagmadeni were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serhan Ergönül was the one to do the kick off. Şeray Eğriöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bünyamin Paşa having to interfere. Erdeniz Falcıoğlu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sultanhamam's goalkeeper Ahmet İlke Beren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Akdagmadeni's goal looked a bit too open when Yakut Samir came free, but Bünyamin Paşa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şeray Eğriöz in the 72nd minute of play forced Akdagmadeni's goalkeeper Bünyamin Paşa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
