After 13 minutes, Alkın Yorangil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eldivan SK and the Kumru JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Şerafettin Eker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kumru JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Şerafettin Eker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a little luck, Kumru JK's Ruhi Metiner got control of the ball when Aşkın Durusoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Kumru JK's Kutay İlgi in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eldivan SK's goalie prevented a goal.

Ruhi Metiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Fatih Şahsuvar in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Baykal Hamurcu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eldivan SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kumru JK the free kick. Baykal Hamurcu kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Kutay İlgi put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fırat Çağan. In the 89th minute, Baykal Hamurcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferhat Bilginer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fırat Çağan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruhi Metiner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alkın Yorangil, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Kutay İlgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
