The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vehdi Türkcan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Star Team's Vehdi Türkcan got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Enver Gülsoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atabey Bucuk in the 5th minute of the match. Tahir Cambaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Enver Gülsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebati Bürgehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peyami Derman kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Sebati Bürgehan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Star Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebati Bürgehan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Işık Tokhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hilmi Şükrü kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Işık Tokhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebati Bürgehan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mesudiye's zone, Melik Arslanşah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Işık Tokhan came out of the goal and Melik Arslanşah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tahir Cambaz came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Mesudiye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tahir Cambaz couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute Atabey Bucuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enver Gülsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Sebati Bürgehan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Star Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebati Bürgehan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Işık Tokhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebati Bürgehan in the 37th minute of play. Melik Arslanşah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Işık Tokhan made a huge save. Sebati Bürgehan struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Işık Tokhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Star Team. If Melik Arslanşah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Star Team defense, Atabey Bucuk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enver Gülsoy. The Star Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enver Gülsoy should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Atabey Bucuk made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Star Team's goalkeeper Enver Gülsoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tahir Cambaz. Işık Tokhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebati Bürgehan's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Enver Gülsoy made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Tahir Cambaz sent off a good shot on target. When Melik Arslanşah fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Star Team's protests and gave Melik Arslanşah a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Melik Arslanşah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Doğukan Savgat fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mesudiye's protests and gave Doğukan Savgat a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Mesudiye got a freekick which was hit by Doğukan Savgat. In the 80th minute of the match Baran Aktar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Işık Tokhan skillfully saved the ball. Melik Arslanşah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Işık Tokhan having to interfere. Mesudiye's Işık Tokhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebati Bürgehan in the 94th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melik Arslanşah in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Işık Tokhan saved Mesudiye from getting behind. Star Team's Enver Gülsoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Star Team from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mesudiye had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
