The Gülyali JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Anıl Çırak should have stopped the shot. After having played for 29 minutes, Güneş Safir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savastepe FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güneş Safir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With 56 minutes on the clock, Osman Özbil commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game.
