Birant Onursoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İsa Özay's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Nazilli's Kuddusî Yüce got a free kick in the 7th minute. Saraydüzü's Halil İbrahim Yüksel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nazilli. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İsa Özay in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birant Onursoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Birant Onursoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cihan Rukni's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Birant Onursoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cihan Rukni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Saraydüzü's Başaran Songurhan got a free kick in the 20th minute. Cihan Rukni hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Boğaç Hürsoy was a little too slow when Hacı Ali Sümre got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by İsa Özay in the 30th minute of play forced Saraydüzü's goalkeeper Birant Onursoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cihan Rukni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Ahmet Emir Tekmil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nazilli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saraydüzü the free kick. Ahmet Emir Tekmil hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nazilli's zone, Umut Urhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boğaç Hürsoy came out of the goal and Umut Urhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hacı Ali Sümre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Umut Urhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Umut Urhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boğaç Hürsoy having to interfere. İsa Özay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Birant Onursoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cihan Rukni in the 67th minute. Cihan Rukni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Birant Onursoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boğaç Hürsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hacı Ali Sümre in the 75th minute of play. Umut Urhan struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Boğaç Hürsoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saraydüzü. Nazilli's Boğaç Hürsoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umut Urhan in the 94th minute of play. Cihan Rukni might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Birant Onursoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cihan Rukni ran back to his position shaking his head. The Nazilli supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nazilli would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
