Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Güneş Taykurt kicked off to start the match. When Çağlar Akgül came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Galat-ı Meşhur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çağlar Akgül couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute of the match Seyfettin Özben shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fellipe Pontes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 8th match minute, Galat-ı Meşhur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sadri Sayrak to maneuver through the defense. Güneş Taykurt struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Fellipe Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Van SK. Güneş Taykurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serdar Atay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ahmet Vahit made a huge save. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Van SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Serdar Atay was slow to take the kick. During this time Galat-ı Meşhur's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Van SK's goalie and right to Alaaddin Cevval. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Van SK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Çağlar Akgül had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Van SK's Boğaç Altuğ got a free kick in the 20th minute. Galat-ı Meşhur's Fellipe Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güneş Taykurt in the 22nd minute of play. Galat-ı Meşhur's Cihat Üstün quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Seyfettin Özben, made in the 24th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the game, Çağlar Akgül recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmet Vahit. Çağlar Akgül showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Galat-ı Meşhur's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Memduh Kose came free, but Fellipe Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fellipe Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güneş Taykurt, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güneş Taykurt in the 37th minute of play forced Galat-ı Meşhur's goalkeeper Fellipe Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seyfettin Özben made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ahmet Hayri Acar. Fellipe Pontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Güneş Taykurt went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Çağlar Akgül stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cihat Üstün during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Galat-ı Meşhur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihat Üstün to maneuver through the defense. Çağlar Akgül blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Vahit having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Çağlar Akgül put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ahmet Vahit. If Çağlar Akgül had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Van SK booed when Galat-ı Meşhur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihat Üstün didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Güneş Taykurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Çağlar Akgül had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Çağlar Akgül took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Vahit. Ahmet Vahit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Ahmet Vahit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağlar Akgül, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Galat-ı Meşhur getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Sadri Sayrak hit a great ball. Galat-ı Meşhur's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
