Güneş Tansan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Kuddusî Özerol when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 6th match minute, TüKeNMeZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cenap Erboy to maneuver through the defense. Hasret Kainat struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Vahap Doğanay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pazaryolu. The referee ignored Pazaryolu's protests and gave Süleyman Uğur a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TüKeNMeZ booed when Pazaryolu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Süleyman Uğur didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Levent Akatay sped through Pazaryolu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kuddusî Özerol. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 40th minute, when TüKeNMeZ's Hakkı Devrim Ulutaş after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Kuddusî Özerol in Pazaryolu's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levent Akatay in the 43rd minute of play forced Pazaryolu's goalkeeper Kuddusî Özerol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abbas Berksan charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abbas Berksan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abbas Berksan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.
