Seyfi İlkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çağatay Ege having to interfere. The RMS Spor fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when RMS Spor's Ali Vedat İldemir looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahtiyar Hacıağa in the 17th minute of play forced BURSASPOR FC's goalkeeper Oğuzhan Özan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oğuzhan Özan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şahin Canver in the 22nd minute of the match. Çağatay Ege stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arda Baydar's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. When Arda Baydar came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the BURSASPOR FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arda Baydar couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arda Baydar to strike the kick off in the second half. If Şahin Canver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Çağatay Ege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arda Baydar in the 65th minute of play. If Arda Baydar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oğuzhan Özan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Vedat İldemir in the 72nd minute of the match. Muzaffer Turcan's late challenge caught a BURSASPOR FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Muzaffer Turcan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Muzaffer Turcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Seyfi İlkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çağatay Ege saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Vedat İldemir was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
