MÜSLÜMBABASPOR's Arif Ozan Tümerdem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Kayıboylu in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caleb Wright got free with Ali Çağrı Birsoy in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 33 minutes, Sebastian Smolarek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MÜSLÜMBABASPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Smolarek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Recep Talha Oğuzbala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Smolarek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Çağrı Birsoy having to make a save. If Şanver Dilercan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Smolarek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Çağrı Birsoy having to interfere. The wind increased when Caleb Wright made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Kayıboylu in the 53rd minute of play forced MÜSLÜMBABASPOR's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Tümerdem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Caleb Wright who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kocaköy's Ali Çağrı Birsoy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Caleb Wright's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Çağrı Birsoy was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Caleb Wright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Kocaköy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kocaköy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
