After 4 played minutes Kocaköy got a freekick which was hit by Baha Bilgehan. Yavuz Akdağ kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Sami Kayıboylu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaptan Afak having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Boran Dilan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boran Dilan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emrullah Kutalmış received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ali Çağrı Birsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Sami Kayıboylu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Baysal Baykutay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaptan Afak. Milas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baysal Baykutay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Yavuz Akdağ kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Kocaköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baha Bilgehan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Kocaköy's Alim Saatçi got a free kick in the 29th minute. Milas's Emrullah Kutalmış got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boran Dilans short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Ali Çağrı Birsoy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ali Çağrı Birsoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boran Dilan in the 33rd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Kocaköy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Milas:s goal. Ali Çağrı Birsoy had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Mahmut Selçuk's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Boran Dilan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 42nd playminute. After 45 played minutes Milas got a freekick which was hit by Lütfi Canbolat. Yavuz Akdağ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sami Kayıboylu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Milas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mahmut Selçuk in the 56th minute. Milas's Mahmut Selçuk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ali Çağrı Birsoy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Baysal Baykutay charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baysal Baykutay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kocaköy's Baysal Baykutay got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Emrullah Kutalmış had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alim Saatçi hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kocaköy's zone, Boran Dilan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Çağrı Birsoy came out of the goal and Boran Dilan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Baysal Baykutay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Emrullah Kutalmış hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emrullah Kutalmış sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th match minute, Kocaköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alim Saatçi to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Emrullah Kutalmış left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Lütfi Canbolat kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Kaptan Afak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kocaköy's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Milas had won, even though Kocaköy had held more of the ball.
