If Hulki İçten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. galatasaray's Savaşer Tolgahan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karadeniz Mengüer in the 7th minute of play. Savaşer Tolgahan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aydın Yiğit, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. galatasaray's Feridun Canalp got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Aybek Kaya came free, but Savaşer Tolgahan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Karadeniz Mengüer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savaşer Tolgahan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Savaşer Tolgahan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karadeniz Mengüer, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Savaşer Tolgahan came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Okur FK's Hulki İçten. But to his dismay, Hulki İçten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Aydın Yiğit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Savaşer Tolgahan. galatasaray's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aydın Yiğit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Feridun Canalp charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feridun Canalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Okur FK's Ali Haydar İspirli was substituted for Aybek Kaya. Aydın Yiğit kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bektaş Ali Akcebe got free with Kandemir Tunçsoy in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot by Kazım Özmen from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Kandemir Tunçsoy's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Savaşer Tolgahan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karadeniz Mengüer in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Aydın Yiğit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Savaşer Tolgahan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karadeniz Mengüer to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Hulki İçten came free, but Savaşer Tolgahan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Karadeniz Mengüer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Savaşer Tolgahan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aydın Yiğit in the 59th minute of play forced galatasaray's goalkeeper Savaşer Tolgahan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Savaşer Tolgahan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Haydar İspirli in the 62nd minute of play. Savaşer Tolgahan made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Karadeniz Mengüer sent off a good shot on target. After 64 minutes of play, Okur FK's Aydın Yiğit made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Savaşer Tolgahan was left in no man's land by his defense there! galatasaray's Savaşer Tolgahan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save galatasaray from getting a goal against them. Savaşer Tolgahan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aydın Yiğit in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Karadeniz Mengüer made a precise shot to the right of Savaşer Tolgahan. galatasaray's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After 78 minutes of play, Okur FK's Karadeniz Mengüer made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Savaşer Tolgahan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the game, Ali Haydar İspirli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Okur FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave galatasaray the free kick. After 81 played minutes Okur FK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Haydar İspirli. If Bektaş Ali Akcebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karadeniz Mengüer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Savaşer Tolgahan made a huge save. galatasaray's Savaşer Tolgahan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save galatasaray from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kazım Özmen during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Okur FK made a substitution. Kaan Karadeniz replaced Aydın Yiğit. In the 98th minute, Kazım Özmen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karadeniz Mengüer, 99 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Okur FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
