Songur Sarıdoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgun Toktamış, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ayvaz Çerağ during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ayvaz Çerağ hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Songur Sarıdoğan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayati Hürmüz in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Gzy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olgun Toktamış came free, but Songur Sarıdoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Muharrem Canser made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgun Toktamış in the 59th minute of play forced Gzy FC's goalkeeper Songur Sarıdoğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hayati Hürmüz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Aydinspor SK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Aydemir Başat hit a great ball. Behram Binışık could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Enis Behiç Aydınoğlu made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Aydinspor SK's Ayvaz Çerağ got a free kick in the 84th minute. Muharrem Canser hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Gzy FC defense, Olgun Toktamış kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Songur Sarıdoğan. The Gzy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Songur Sarıdoğan should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute, Olgun Toktamış left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aydinspor SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Aydinspor SK were victorious despite being under pressure from Gzy FC for much of the match.
