When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, Kozyatagi's Zülfikar Oğuzkan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bünyamin Özgun. In the 11th minute, Kozyatagi's Müfit Enginer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bünyamin Özgun. Bünyamin Özgun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 18thth minute of the game Onurhan Tuncaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kozyatagi's Battal Enginalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Gaziantep Futbol's Bünyamin Özgun got control of the ball when Eşref Hazin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anıl Berk Kutsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onurhan Tuncaral in the 29th minute of play forced Kozyatagi's goalkeeper Battal Enginalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Onurhan Tuncaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaziantep Futbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Onurhan Tuncaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Eşref Hazin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Müfit Enginer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bünyamin Özgun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Onurhan Tuncaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eşref Hazin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bünyamin Özgun having to interfere. Müfit Enginer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Bünyamin Özgun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bircan Hatemoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kozyatagi's zone, Onurhan Tuncaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Battal Enginalp came out of the goal and Onurhan Tuncaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Kozyatagi's Ahmet Ege Okdağ got a free kick in the 74th minute. Eser Uçur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Battal Enginalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Onurhan Tuncaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Battal Enginalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Onurhan Tuncaral ran back to his position shaking his head. Onurhan Tuncaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Enginalp having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Gaziantep Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Eşref Hazin came free, but Bünyamin Özgun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
