Ergincan Gökyüzü stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fahri Sakman's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Yahya Bilkan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ergincan Gökyüzü. When Halil Kazak fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored beşiktaş's protests and gave Halil Kazak a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to beşiktaş getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Halil Kazak hit a great ball. When Halil Kazak came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the beşiktaş fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Halil Kazak couldn't finish the play. In the 25thth minute of the game Yahya Bilkan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but beşiktaş's Ergincan Gökyüzü was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yiğit Can Yaban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Muhammet Enver's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Halil Kazak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Yiğit Can Yaban when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Muhammet Enver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiğit Can Yaban having to interfere. Halil Kazak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Yiğit Can Yaban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Metehan Özgulec kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half Korgun were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fahri Sakman to make the kick off. If Abdurrahman Batıhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
