Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Harun Yaslı kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sögütlü's zone, Harun Yaslı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüseyin İstemihan came out of the goal and Harun Yaslı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mirza Yaren in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hüseyin İstemihan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hüseyin İstemihan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harun Yaslı in the 5th minute of play. Harun Yaslı took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hüseyin İstemihan. Hüseyin İstemihan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kurucesme's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Mustafa Ali Urandu scored to the left of an out of position Kuddusî Çelikhan, making the score, 1-1. Kurucesme's Şamil Uluşahin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ahmet Bülent Şenyurt, made in the 15th minute of the game. In the 17th minute Mirza Yaren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin İstemihan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Ali Urandu in the 18th minute of play forced Kurucesme's goalkeeper Kuddusî Çelikhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Mirza Yaren sped through Sögütlü's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hüseyin İstemihan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Ali Urandu in the 31st minute of play forced Kurucesme's goalkeeper Kuddusî Çelikhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Harun Yaslı put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Hüseyin İstemihan. Kuddusî Çelikhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Ali Urandu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Sögütlü's goal looked a bit too open when Harun Yaslı came free, but Hüseyin İstemihan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sögütlü's Hüseyin İstemihan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harun Yaslı in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, one of Sögütlü:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sögütlü. After the first half Kurucesme were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aytuğ Temirhan to strike the kick off in the second half. Sögütlü's Ahmet Bülent Şenyurt got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Hüseyin İstemihan managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Kurucesme's Harun Yaslı fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kuddusî Çelikhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baturay Bolat's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Harun Yaslı made a precise shot to the right of Hüseyin İstemihan. Sögütlü's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. In the 69th match minute, Sögütlü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baturay Bolat to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Mirza Yaren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sögütlü! Harun Yaslı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hüseyin İstemihan having to make a save. Aytuğ Temirhan struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Kuddusî Çelikhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sögütlü. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ender Yağızhan in the 83rd minute of play forced Sögütlü's goalkeeper Hüseyin İstemihan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Baturay Bolat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 minutes, Cevdet Işık mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kurucesme and the Sögütlü players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kurucesme's Cevdet Işık got a free kick in the 89th minute. Aytuğ Temirhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Çelikhan having to interfere. Hüseyin İstemihan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirza Yaren in the 97th minute of play. Gaffar Akçalı kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kurucesme had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
