Behlül Yeler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yomra. Ediz Bayar hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, FC KONYASPOR's Atak Başar threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erbatur Kanat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Behlül Yeler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 48 minutes into the game, Yomra's Ahmet Göktuğ Tuğkun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Behlül Yeler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 99th minute, one of Yomra:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yomra.
