Cahit Bürge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cahit Bürge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Kutsi Tunçhan having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Şentürk Sartık cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ahmet Kutsi Tunçhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Tokatspor JK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kadim Zeynur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Kutsi Tunçhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şentürk Sartık in the 54th minute of the match. Ahmet Kutsi Tunçhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şentürk Sartık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baybars Samin during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Bahcelievler:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tokatspor JK:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ahmet Kutsi Tunçhan, was totally fooled by Tokatspor JK's Lütfi Balıkçı, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cahit Bürge got free with Ahmet Kutsi Tunçhan in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmet Kutsi Tunçhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şentürk Sartık, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Haldun Hacıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kadim Zeynur in the 69th minute of the match. Bahcelievler's Ahmet Kutsi Tunçhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şentürk Sartık in the 74th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Tokatspor JK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bahcelievler.
