GALATASARAY GHC's Ahmet Ali Umural played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sadri Yiğitoğlu in the 22nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sadri Yiğitoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Ali Umural was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Menemen JK's Şerif Ünlü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulmelik Baştuğ in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Abdulmelik Baştuğ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY GHC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulmelik Baştuğ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sadri Yiğitoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Ali Umural having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Menemen JK's zone, Güner Suergin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şerif Ünlü came out of the goal and Güner Suergin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd match minute, Menemen JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Erdem Sırat to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Menemen JK's goalkeeper Şerif Ünlü had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Güner Suergin. Ahmet Ali Umural didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sami Ruhittin went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Menemen JK's Şerif Ünlü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulmelik Baştuğ in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Menemen JK's Sadri Yiğitoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Ali Umural made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

Hakkı Kenan Seralp was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Güner Suergin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Menemen JK's zone, Abdulmelik Baştuğ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şerif Ünlü came out of the goal and Abdulmelik Baştuğ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şerif Ünlü made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulmelik Baştuğ in the 68th minute of play. GALATASARAY GHC's Abdulmelik Baştuğ got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Ali Umural was a little too slow when Sadri Yiğitoğlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-4. If Sadri Yiğitoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Menemen JK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
