Suavi Sağbilge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aktaç Egelioğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaffar Deniz having to make a save. Hüseyin Can Üstün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahmut Urandu in the 22nd minute of play. Hüseyin Can Üstün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmut Urandu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Suavi Sağbilge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin Can Üstün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaffar Deniz made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Aktaç Egelioğlu sent off a good shot on target. Halis Emektar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sultanhamam SK's Recep Tayyip Usare got a free kick in the 34th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mahmut Urandu to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ankara booed when Sultanhamam SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Recep Tayyip Usare didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Ankara's Halis Emektar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaffar Deniz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 57th minute, Mahmut Urandu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute Aktaç Egelioğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaffar Deniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Tayfur Ozan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sultanhamam SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tayfur Ozan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mahmut Urandu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Can Üstün having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Mahmut Urandu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mahmut Urandu struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Hüseyin Can Üstün didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sultanhamam SK. After a defensive mix-up in Ankara's zone, Mahmut Urandu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüseyin Can Üstün came out of the goal and Mahmut Urandu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mahmut Urandu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Ankara's Hüseyin Can Üstün proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Ankara from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Suavi Sağbilge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sultanhamam SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a little luck, Ankara's Hüseyin Can Üstün got control of the ball when Mahmut Urandu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaffar Deniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aktaç Egelioğlu in the 95th minute of the match. Aktaç Egelioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gaffar Deniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Sultanhamam SK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
