Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sercan Sayhan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Halkapinar's goal looked a bit too open when Sercan Sayhan came free, but İhsan Erserim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Sercan Sayhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gürün's supporters rose to their feet, but Sercan Sayhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İhsan Erserim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İhsan Erserim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sercan Sayhan in the 15th minute of play. If Sercan Sayhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. Sercan Sayhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. İhsan Erserim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rahim Doğanten struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. İhsan Erserim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gürün. İhsan Erserim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sercan Sayhan's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. İhsan Erserim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahim Doğanten in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Halkapinar's goalkeeper İhsan Erserim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sercan Sayhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Batu Pektay was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Rahim Doğanten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Gürün fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Gürün's Rahim Doğanten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Halkapinar getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Reis Hececi hit a great ball. After 79 minutes of play, Gürün's Sercan Sayhan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. İhsan Erserim was left in no man's land by his defense there! İhsan Erserim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sercan Sayhan in the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of Gürün booed when Halkapinar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. İsmail Hakkı Hatip didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Gürün got a corner. Halkapinar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rüknettin Tuncalp ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Gürün's Muammer Bekata got a free kick in the 88th minute. The Gürün supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gürün would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
