Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Firat FK's Arın Oykan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Barlas Erdurmus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barlas Erdurmuss short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Altan İhtiyar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 10 minutes into the match, Gerede's goalkeeper Altan İhtiyar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barlas Erdurmus. After a defensive mix-up in Gerede's zone, Metin Işık stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Altan İhtiyar came out of the goal and Metin Işık tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Gerede's goalkeeper Altan İhtiyar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barlas Erdurmus. Barlas Erdurmus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Firat FK booed when Gerede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurtuluş Birsel didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Gerede's Altan İhtiyar got control of the ball when Barlas Erdurmus tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Metin Lema was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gerede's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Firat FK the free kick. A collision led to Gerede getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Metin Lema hit a great ball. Altan İhtiyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arın Oykan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arın Oykan in the 31st minute of play forced Gerede's goalkeeper Altan İhtiyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Metin Lema to make the kick off. When Arın Oykan came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Firat FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arın Oykan couldn't finish the play. In the 55th match minute, Gerede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurtuluş Birsel to maneuver through the defense. Altan İhtiyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barlas Erdurmus in the 59th minute of the match. Arın Oykan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th match minute, Gerede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halil İbrahim Tunçkılıç to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, Halil İbrahim Tunçkılıç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gerede's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Firat FK the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gerede fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Metin Lema struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ahmet Oğuz Melih didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gerede. Menderes Bayazid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
