Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Sancar Başok in the 3rd minute of play forced Shrewsbury Town's goalkeeper Serter Ziver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sancar Başok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serter Ziver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sancar Başok in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Shrewsbury Town's goal looked a bit too open when Sancar Başok came free, but Serter Ziver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Yağız Okseven who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shrewsbury Town's Serter Ziver was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Serter Ziver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yağız Okseven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kizilay FK's Yağız Okseven got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Shrewsbury Town's zone, Sancar Başok stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serter Ziver came out of the goal and Sancar Başok tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Yağız Okseven came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Kizilay FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yağız Okseven couldn't finish the play. Shrewsbury Town's Serter Ziver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sancar Başok in the 22nd minute of play. Sancar Başok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sancar Başok fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serter Ziver having to interfere. Serter Ziver came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Kizilay FK's Yağız Okseven. But to his dismay, Yağız Okseven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kizilay FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tolgahan Türkyılmaz 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Serter Ziver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yağız Okseven, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the Shrewsbury Town defense, Yağız Okseven kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serter Ziver. The Shrewsbury Town fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serter Ziver should have stopped the shot. If Yağız Okseven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Kizilay FK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Yağız Okseven in the 58th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Serter Ziver kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. The crowd rose to their feet as Yağız Okseven kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Serter Ziver. That made the score 1-4 in the 66 minute of play. Serter Ziver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yağız Okseven in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shrewsbury Town's goalkeeper Serter Ziver, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sancar Başok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sancar Başok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yağız Okseven in the 82nd minute of play forced Shrewsbury Town's goalkeeper Serter Ziver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zühtü İmdat charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zühtü İmdat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot 91 in the game by Yağız Okseven from a close distance when the talented Serter Ziver managed to make a qualified save. Shrewsbury Town's players were relieved. Serter Ziver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yağız Okseven in the 94th minute of play. Kizilay FK's Sancar Başok got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kizilay FK played a much better game than Shrewsbury Town and deserved their victory. The Shrewsbury Town players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
