With a couple of smart ball manuevers İdris Ulusoy in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Erdem Birsan saved Nigde SK from getting behind. Ahmet Erdem Birsan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Savaş Acabey in the 14th minute of the match. Ali Vedat Uruk hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Mehmet Akif Aktay fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nigde SK's protests and gave Mehmet Akif Aktay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Mehmet Akif Aktay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute İdris Ulusoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Erdem Birsan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nigde SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Özgür Cespan was slow to take the kick. During this time Gürsu's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Gürsu's Savaş Acabey getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 28th minute, İdris Ulusoy made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Erdem Birsan. Nigde SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Nigde SK's goal looked a bit too open when Savaş Acabey came free, but Ahmet Erdem Birsan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game İdris Ulusoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nigde SK's Ahmet Erdem Birsan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. İdris Ulusoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Erdem Birsan having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Savaş Acabey to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Erhan Hafi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ahmet Erdem Birsan. The goal made the score 0-2. When Gürsu's Savaş Acabey in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nigde SK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 62nd minute, Umut Birsoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gürsu's Münir Özatay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umut Birsoy in the 65th minute of play. İdris Ulusoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Erdem Birsan having to interfere. Nigde SK's Ahmet Erdem Birsan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Nigde SK from getting a goal against them. Savaş Acabey was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Gürsu's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 72nd minute of the match Özgür Cespan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Erdem Birsan skillfully saved the ball. Savaş Acabey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Erdem Birsan having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Savaş Acabey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmet Erdem Birsan. Savaş Acabey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Ahmet Erdem Birsan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Savaş Acabey in the 84th minute of play. If Savaş Acabey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erhan Hafi in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Erdem Birsan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. İdris Ulusoy struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ahmet Erdem Birsan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gürsu. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, İdris Ulusoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gürsu's supporters rose to their feet, but İdris Ulusoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Erdem Birsan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Münir Özatay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umut Birsoy in the 100th minute of the match. When the match was over Gürsu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nigde SK throughout the match.
