Ahmet Erdem Birsan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the match, Umut Birsoy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ahmet Gökalp Karadeniz, 2-1. Alaaddin Altuğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ahmet Erdem Birsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Nigde SK fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Nigde SK's Fazıl Kutsoy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After a rather tough play, Nigde SK's Mehmet Akif Aktay got a free kick in the 54th minute. Ahmet Erdem Birsan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alaaddin Altuğ in the 59th minute. Cihan Yurday charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cihan Yurday the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nigde SK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Cihan Yurday hit a great ball. Ahmet Erdem Birsan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazil Hıfzullah in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Alaaddin Altuğ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ödemişspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Alaaddin Altuğ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Erdem Birsan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mehmet Akif Aktay fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nigde SK's protests and gave Mehmet Akif Aktay a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Nigde SK got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Akif Aktay. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alaaddin Altuğ got free with Ahmet Erdem Birsan in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Ödemişspor's Barbaros Şerafeddin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nigde SK's Fazıl Kutsoy got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nigde SK had won after a very even match.
