Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Kurtulus's Metehan Orguntay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Öztürk Başer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Suat Seha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Metehan Orguntay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İbrahim Ethem Sağlam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dursun Keykavus helped the player get up and apologised. Dursun Keykavus kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Metehan Orguntay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Talip Serter was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After 28 played minutes Kurtulus got a freekick which was hit by Şahap Saykal. Öztürk Başer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Suat Seha. Kurtulus's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. REAL MADRİD's Talip Serter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Affan Muren in the 34th minute of play. Talip Serter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metehan Orguntay in the 37th minute of play. Suat Seha acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ali Berkant Oğuztüzün. Kurtulus's Metehan Orguntay got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Metehan Orguntay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in REAL MADRİD's zone, Metehan Orguntay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Talip Serter came out of the goal and Metehan Orguntay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of REAL MADRİD booed when Kurtulus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şahap Saykal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kazım Koralp took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Suat Seha. Kurtulus's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baysal Berkkan to make the kick off. Metehan Orguntay struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Talip Serter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurtulus. Affan Muren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Talip Serter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Metehan Orguntay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Talip Serter having to interfere. Alican Cansun kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolunay Ustam got free with Talip Serter in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Metehan Orguntay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Metehan Orguntay in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Talip Serter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kurtulus's Suat Seha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baysal Berkkan in the 76th minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Metehan Orguntay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REAL MADRİD's Talip Serter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Metehan Orguntay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. REAL MADRİD's Talip Serter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save REAL MADRİD from getting a goal against them. After 86 minutes of play REAL MADRİD's Dursun Keykavus was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 87th match minute, REAL MADRİD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dursun Keykavus to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Kurtulus booed when REAL MADRİD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selim Haktanır didn't get a good kick on the ball.
