Türkeş Pınar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Yenal Uygu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zafer Şahiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Talip Serter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baysal Berkkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baysal Berkkan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yenal Uygu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Orbay Tokyüz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Talip Serter having to interfere. Öztürk Başer hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zafer Şahiner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Zilespor getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Reşit Ongun hit a great ball. If Orbay Tokyüz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sancar Olgunsu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Kazım Koralp took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yenal Uygu. Zilespor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Orbay Tokyüz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Orbay Tokyüz in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Talip Serter, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
