Marc Kellblom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marc Kellblom struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Bilge Kağan Necip didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BİLECİKSPOR. GümüşhaneFK's Bilge Kağan Necip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Baptiste Caamaño in the 7th minute of play. Nuri Kayaer kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When Armağan Hürmetli came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the GümüşhaneFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armağan Hürmetli couldn't finish the play. Armağan Hürmetli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevat Elmacıoğlu having to interfere. Cevat Elmacıoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Recep Tayyip Emiroğlu in the 17th minute. If Jean-Baptiste Caamaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Kellblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bilge Kağan Necip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mithat Tümcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mithat Tümcan in the 34th minute of play forced GümüşhaneFK's goalkeeper Bilge Kağan Necip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marc Kellblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, GümüşhaneFK's Recep Tayyip Emiroğlu got a free kick in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armağan Hürmetli made a kick off. GümüşhaneFK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Binali Kıvılcım in the 53rd minute. A well done corner resulted in Recep Tayyip Emiroğlu drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind BİLECİKSPOR's goalkeeper. Bahadır Uğurtay might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cevat Elmacıoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bahadır Uğurtay ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ensar Avcıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. BİLECİKSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ensar Avcıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bilge Kağan Necip breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th match minute, GümüşhaneFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuri Kayaer to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Marc Kellblom fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bilge Kağan Necip, passed just outside the right post. Marc Kellblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in GümüşhaneFK's zone, Tomasz Kluczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bilge Kağan Necip came out of the goal and Tomasz Kluczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind GümüşhaneFK's goalkeeper Bilge Kağan Necip, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 80 minutes, Mücahit Temizalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BİLECİKSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mücahit Temizalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marc Kellblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes, Nuri Kayaer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GümüşhaneFK and the BİLECİKSPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Ensar Avcıoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
