In the 7th match minute, Babadag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baybora Tanırcan to maneuver through the defense. When Ruhi Şemsi came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the ELMALI SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruhi Şemsi couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the game, ELMALI SK's Gencay Tekgül nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kunter Özdoğru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Babadag's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ruhi Şemsi 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Alpay Ulucağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melih Nuh in the 24th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Melih Nuh sped through ELMALI SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alpay Ulucağ. In the 27thth minute of the game Gencay Tekgül who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Babadag's Kunter Özdoğru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of ELMALI SK booed when Babadag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baybora Tanırcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruhi Şemsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alpay Ulucağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhan Lokman in the 39th minute of play. With 41 minutes on the clock, Fevzi Yalaz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of ELMALI SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Babadag:s goal. Ruhi Şemsi struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Kunter Özdoğru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ELMALI SK.

Orhan Lokman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Melih Nuh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Alpay Ulucağ managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Babadag's Melih Nuh fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alpay Ulucağ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orhan Lokman, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to ELMALI SK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Semavi Sehim hit a great ball. Alpay Ulucağ was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Orhan Lokman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orhan Lokman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. In the 89th minute, Melih Nuh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Babadag fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Melih Nuh's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alpay Ulucağ firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see ELMALI SK lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
