Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Kadiköy's Hakkı Devrim Ulubaş started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Keramettin Gökekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baturhan Serafet in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Hakkı Devrim Ulubaş left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kadiköy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 7 played minutes Egirdir got a freekick which was hit by Ata Humbaracıbaşı. After 9 played minutes, Kadiköy's Ahmet Bülent Turkay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yasin Tuğsan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kadiköy reached it. If Cevat Pozan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hakkı Devrim Ulubaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hakkı Devrim Ulubaş came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Kadiköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hakkı Devrim Ulubaş couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute Baturhan Serafet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keramettin Gökekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakkı Devrim Ulubaş in the 44th minute of play forced Egirdir's goalkeeper Yasin Tuğsan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Baturhan Serafet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Kadiköy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
After a defensive mix-up in Kadiköy's zone, Rıfkı Karar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keramettin Gökekin came out of the goal and Rıfkı Karar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Nejat Sağıt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Nejat Sağıt hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Rıfkı Karar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keramettin Gökekin was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Cevat Pozan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Yasin Tuğsan made a huge save. Egirdir's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Hakkı Devrim Ulubaş scored to the left of an out of position Yasin Tuğsan, making the score, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baturhan Serafet in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keramettin Gökekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rıfkı Karar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hakkı Devrim Ulubaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Kadiköy's goal looked a bit too open when Rıfkı Karar came free, but Keramettin Gökekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Egirdir's goal looked a bit too open when Hakkı Devrim Ulubaş came free, but Yasin Tuğsan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Artun Turcan fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
