Batıkan Kara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Şensoy Akkaş made a huge save. After having played for 9 minutes, Efekan Şükür managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efekan Şükür was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emran Revnak hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Şensoy Akkaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yakut Ceceli in the 17th minute of the match. The corner led Celtikci JK's Berke Yafes to fire away a dangerous shot which Şensoy Akkaş despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Celtikci JK's attentive Emran Revnak managed to snatch the ball when Sezgin Ötüken made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Celtikci JK's Yakut Ceceli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 30 minutes, Sezgin Ötüken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALATASARAY and the Celtikci JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes GALATASARAY got a freekick which was hit by Sezgin Ötüken. The supporters of Celtikci JK booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sezgin Ötüken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çağdaş Nevruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haldun Tokgöz having to interfere. Çağdaş Nevruz struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Haldun Tokgöz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALATASARAY. Emran Revnak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yakut Ceceli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes into the game, Nuralp Sudi threw the ball into play from the sideline. GALATASARAY's Ferit Rasif quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, Celtikci JK's Haldun Tokgöz got control of the ball when Efekan Şükür tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Şensoy Akkaş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Batıkan Kara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Şensoy Akkaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Celtikci JK's Bahadırhan Sezgi got a free kick in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the GALATASARAY players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Celtikci JK.
