Sacit Salman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orhan Veli Torkal in the 16th minute of the match. Orhan Veli Torkal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Tarabya's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orhan Veli Torkal in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sacit Salman saved Gevas from getting behind. Aycan Ceberut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sungurbey Acartürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Erdal Direnç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sacit Salman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhan Veli Torkal in the 39th minute of play forced Gevas's goalkeeper Sacit Salman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Gevas's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Veli Torkal came free, but Sacit Salman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erdal Direnç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sacit Salman having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Orhan Veli Torkal made the kick off in the second half. Orhan Veli Torkal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sacit Salman having to interfere. Sacit Salman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erdal Direnç's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tarabya's zone, Sungurbey Acartürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aycan Ceberut came out of the goal and Sungurbey Acartürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orhan Veli Torkal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sacit Salman having to interfere. Ahmet Harun Özinal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Aycan Ceberut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sacit Salman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orhan Veli Torkal went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 85th minute, Orhan Veli Torkal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erdal Direnç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tarabya fully deserved thier win.
