Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ertan Öner started the match with the kick off. When Çağatay Akdurmuş came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Düzce FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çağatay Akdurmuş couldn't finish the play. After 8 minutes, Şanver Hekimoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cizre FK and the Düzce FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Düzce FK booed when Cizre FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şanver Hekimoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Baki Özdilmaç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cizre FK's Şansal Özgur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Cizre FK's Artun Irgatbaşı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Seyhun Murathan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Çağatay Akdurmuş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Düzce FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cizre FK the free kick. A collision led to Düzce FK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Çağatay Akdurmuş hit a great ball. After 17 minutes Düzce FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Refik Orgen who took care of the corner kick. Şansal Özgur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baki Özdilmaç's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Baki Özdilmaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şansal Özgur having to interfere. Şansal Özgur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Arif Akkoç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cizre FK's Şansal Özgur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Arif Akkoç in the 39th minute of play. Osman Ali Düden kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Artun Irgatbaşı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Seyhun Murathan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Arif Akkoç was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Düzce FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baki Özdilmaç to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artun Irgatbaşı in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Seyhun Murathan saved Düzce FK from getting behind. In the 60th minute Artun Irgatbaşı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyhun Murathan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Ertan Öner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Seyhun Murathan. Düzce FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ertan Öner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Arif Akkoç in the 66th minute of play forced Cizre FK's goalkeeper Şansal Özgur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ertan Öner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vecdi Müşfik hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Artun Irgatbaşı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cizre FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artun Irgatbaşı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şansal Özgur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Arif Akkoç in the 73rd minute of the match. Baki Özdilmaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vecdi Müşfik hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Cizre FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Refik Orgen in the 93rd minute. The corner led Cizre FK's Refik Orgen to fire away a dangerous shot which Seyhun Murathan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Çağatay Akdurmuş got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 95 played minutes Düzce FK got a freekick which was hit by Çağatay Akdurmuş. Düzce FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
