When Feridun Özdemir came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Egil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feridun Özdemir couldn't finish the play. Bülent Eygül made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murathan Sayar in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsmen Siyami in the 19th minute of play forced çemlek's goalkeeper Bülent Eygül to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Egil got a freekick which was hit by Feridun Özdemir. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feridun Özdemir during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of çemlek booed when Egil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feridun Özdemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, çemlek's Karhan Saver broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. The supporters of Egil booed when çemlek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abuzer Okcun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bülent Eygül showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüsmen Siyami, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, çemlek's Ferid Nafi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Selman Özsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Murathan Sayar made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Feridun Özdemir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feridun Özdemir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hüsmen Siyami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bülent Eygül having to interfere. Murathan Sayar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Egil's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, çemlek's Pekin Şükran got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Feridun Özdemir struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Bülent Eygül didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egil. If Murathan Sayar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Murathan Sayar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
