Sungurbey Balaman hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Menekse's zone, Serdar Asutay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Suavi Namal came out of the goal and Serdar Asutay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Çağan Gencay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Menekse's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Erdem Toycan came free, but Suavi Namal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Menekse's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Erdem Toycan came free, but Suavi Namal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Suavi Namal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serdar Asutay in the 11th minute of play. If Ahmet Erdem Toycan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute, Ahmet Erdem Toycan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kamber Mirza kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Serdar Asutay notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Menekse's Suavi Namal. Suavi Namal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Çağan Gencay kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Suavi Namal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Erdem Toycan's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Sungurbey Balaman hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Menekse's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Erdem Toycan came free, but Suavi Namal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Yavuz Selimhan Türemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Menekse's Suavi Namal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vedat Ergenç in the 46th minute of play. Serdar Asutay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Menekse players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gölmarmara were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Erdem Toycan made a kick off. Suavi Namal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Erdem Toycan in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Menekse's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Erdem Toycan came free, but Suavi Namal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gölmarmara's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vedat Ergenç in the 54th minute. After taking down the ball on Gölmarmara's corner Recai Rusuhi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Suavi Namal quite easily take care of the ball. Kamber Mirza's late challenge caught a Gölmarmara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kamber Mirza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Menekse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamber Mirza to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gölmarmara booed when Menekse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamber Mirza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Korkut Öztaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. İbrahim Ethem Beycan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serdar Asutay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suavi Namal having to interfere. Seyfullah Kutsalmis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gölmarmara's Ahmet Erdem Toycan got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th match minute, Gölmarmara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şinasi Harmandalı to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Gölmarmara left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Menekse.
