İzzettin Mukbil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yağızhan Ungan having to interfere. If Mustafa Yaşar Gagauz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güney Tavgaç's late challenge caught a Hozat FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Güney Tavgaç helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Güney Tavgaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Hozat FK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Çağrı Kalhan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İzzettin Mukbil in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yağızhan Ungan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, Hozat FK's goal looked a bit too open when İzzettin Mukbil came free, but Yağızhan Ungan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olgun Eryetiş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If İzzettin Mukbil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by İzzettin Mukbil in the 39th minute of play forced Hozat FK's goalkeeper Yağızhan Ungan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mustafa Yaşar Gagauz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galatasaray's goalkeeper Aytunç Keşif, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Olgun Eryetiş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yağızhan Ungan having to interfere. Hüsrev İplikçi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. İzzettin Mukbil got in the 57th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Yağızhan Ungan handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Galatasaray's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hüsmen Ulutan in the 58th minute. Hüsmen Ulutan made a great header on Galatasaray's corner, it was just that Hozat FK's Yağızhan Ungan managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Galatasaray's İzzettin Mukbil slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yağızhan Ungan. That made the score 1-1 after 62 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Güney Tavgaç got a free kick in the 65th minute. Aytunç Keşif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Yaşar Gagauz in the 70th minute of the match. Aytunç Keşif stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hakkı Onur Baybars's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Güney Tavgaç kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hozat FK's zone, İzzettin Mukbil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yağızhan Ungan came out of the goal and İzzettin Mukbil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Mustafa Yaşar Gagauz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hozat FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Yaşar Gagauz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aytunç Keşif breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yağızhan Ungan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olgun Eryetiş in the 90th minute. Olgun Eryetiş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yağızhan Ungan having to interfere. If Olgun Eryetiş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hozat FK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Galatasaray had controlled the match.
