Köprübasi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erzurumspor the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Köprübasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Baki Kuter to maneuver through the defense. Anıl Baran İlkay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duran Seciye in the 6th minute of the match. Anıl Baran İlkay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tacettin Şemsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Köprübasi's goalkeeper Arın Asır had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mete Akoğul. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duran Seciye in the 12th minute of play forced Erzurumspor's goalkeeper Anıl Baran İlkay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mete Akoğul struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Arın Asır didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erzurumspor. 15 minutes into the game, Köprübasi's Duran Seciye nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anıl Baran İlkay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Arkın Özerdim kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Ahmet Baki Kuter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Köprübasi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 27 played minutes Köprübasi got a freekick which was hit by Duran Seciye. In the 30th match minute, Köprübasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tacettin Şemsi to maneuver through the defense. Erzurumspor's Ali Çağrı Ağaverdi got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mete Akoğul might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arın Asır. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mete Akoğul ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Çağrı Ağaverdi during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Köprübasi booed when Erzurumspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Çağrı Ağaverdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anıl Baran İlkay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tacettin Şemsi in the 37th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mete Akoğul made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Ahmet Baki Kuter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Baran İlkay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ali Çağrı Ağaverdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rüştü Müfit during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Köprübasi's Rüştü Müfit got a free kick in the 60th minute. Muhsin Gürtuna, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Erzurumspor's Mete Akoğul got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mete Akoğul might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arın Asır. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erzurumspor's Muharrem Onaran got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anıl Baran İlkay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tacettin Şemsi in the 94th minute of play. The Erzurumspor supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Köprübasi's performance. The match ended with a win for Köprübasi.
