Rüknettin Uğursan kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Kutluay Ercan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derman Yonal having to interfere. Derman Yonal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kutluay Ercan in the 7th minute of the match. After 11 minutes, Kutluay Ercan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Şanlıurfa FK's Derman Yonal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Şanlıurfa FK's Ulvi Bilge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Engin Alp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Rüknettin Uğursan managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Ulvi Bilge got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 39th minute, Seçkin Hattat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulvi Bilge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Engin Alp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Engin Alp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rüknettin Uğursan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kutluay Ercan to make the kick off. Ecevit Şenyaşar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Şanlıurfa FK booed when DINAMO LOKOMOTIF KAISER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seçkin Hattat didn't get a good kick on the ball. DINAMO LOKOMOTIF KAISER's Burhan Oğuzkan got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, one of Şanlıurfa FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Şanlıurfa FK. After a defensive mix-up in DINAMO LOKOMOTIF KAISER's zone, Ulvi Bilge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Engin Alp came out of the goal and Ulvi Bilge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Yavuz Selim Sancaktar came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the DINAMO LOKOMOTIF KAISER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yavuz Selim Sancaktar couldn't finish the play. The DINAMO LOKOMOTIF KAISER supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DINAMO LOKOMOTIF KAISER would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
