The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sinan Kelim hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The supporters of Güclükonak JK booed when Darende was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nusret Tufan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gürol Zorlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sinan Kelim in the 5th minute of the match. Gürol Zorlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sinan Kelim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Celalettin Tanak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kemalettin Şennur kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Güclükonak JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bahadır Paye to maneuver through the defense. When Celalettin Tanak fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Darende's protests and gave Celalettin Tanak a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Darende got a freekick which was hit by Celalettin Tanak. Ramiz Kıvılcım kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Darende was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiz Kıvılcım to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Darende's zone, Sinan Kelim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürol Zorlu came out of the goal and Sinan Kelim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute Sinan Kelim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürol Zorlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kemalettin Şennur fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Güclükonak JK's protests and gave Kemalettin Şennur a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Darende booed when Güclükonak JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kemalettin Şennur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yavuz Selimhan Özmert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiz Kıvılcım, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Ziya Yeğiner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gürol Zorlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bahadır Paye charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bahadır Paye the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Güclükonak JK got a freekick which was hit by Bahadır Paye. If Ziya Yeğiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celalettin Tanak made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Celalettin Tanak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gürol Zorlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sinan Kelim in the 56th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ziya Yeğiner took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Gürol Zorlu to make any attempt to save it. Ziya Yeğiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sinan Kelim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gürol Zorlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sinan Kelim in the 78th minute of the match. Yavuz Selimhan Özmert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiz Kıvılcım in the 81st minute of play. Gürol Zorlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sinan Kelim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ziya Yeğiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Güclükonak JK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
