Ali Berkant Gürgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Şenel Uraltan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gazanfer Atlas fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragos's protests and gave Gazanfer Atlas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dragos's Gazanfer Atlas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Gökalp Özbir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avcilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökalp Özbir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Ali Berkant Gürgan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Şenel Uraltan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Metehan Kebir during the 36th minute. After 37 minutes of play Dragos's Gazanfer Atlas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Avcilar's Lütfü Özil got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Berkant Gürgan got free with Şenel Uraltan in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd match minute, Avcilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burhanettin Adem to maneuver through the defense. Dragos's Ali Berkant Gürgan got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gökalp Özbir came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Avcilar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökalp Özbir couldn't finish the play.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mahsun Kulan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lütfü Özil's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After some careless play in the Avcilar defense, Ali Berkant Gürgan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şenel Uraltan. The Avcilar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şenel Uraltan should have stopped the shot. When Lütfü Özil came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Avcilar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lütfü Özil couldn't finish the play. If Gökalp Özbir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
