Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hüsmen Göçer got the match started through his kick off. Seyfi Veysi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Volkan Taif came out and tried to block the shot, but Seyfi Veysi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 15th minute. Volkan Taif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eralp Buğdaycı in the 24th minute of the match. Doğuş Akpınar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aziz Necaettin's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Hüsmen Göçer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğuş Akpınar having to interfere. Rıfkı Perker kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Aziz Necaettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğuş Akpınar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eralp Buğdaycı to make the kick off. Bursaspor FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rıfkı Perker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eralp Buğdaycı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volkan Taif having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Coşkun Dalayer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bursaspor FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Coşkun Dalayer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volkan Taif breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Bursaspor FK booed when Dörtyol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. kaya Talaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, Dörtyol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gazanfer Özcan Çetinel to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Dörtyol's zone, Eralp Buğdaycı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volkan Taif came out of the goal and Eralp Buğdaycı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dörtyol's Volkan Taif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eralp Buğdaycı in the 82nd minute of play. If Eralp Buğdaycı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doğuş Akpınar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüsmen Göçer, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Eralp Buğdaycı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
