The tension between the Sarikaya and the Polatli players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ali Kürşat Nevruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarikaya's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Kürşat Nevruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berkin Resul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
